I'm 30 now and I feel so far behind because I didn't start saving and investing till just 2 years ago because i was so busy getting out of debt. College debt mainly. Now I'm finally funding my max employer match, roth 7k yearly, and keeping money in a HYSA. It's hard when you grew up below poverty line. Grinded my way to a $150k income.

I sold an apartment in Springfield and made about $250K. I was frustrated when I only earned $171 in interest from a regular savings account. After doing some research, I was advised to invest in stocks. What are the best strategies for long-term retirement investments?

While the stock market is promising and can give good ROI, expert guidance is essential for effective portfolio management so you don't get burnt out in the market as it is very volatile.

I opened an online high-yield savings account with 5.12863% interest compounded daily, expecting to get $2,500 in interest on my initial $50,000 at the end of the month. Instead, I only received $420. When I inquired, I was told the interest is calculated daily, which was not clearly stated on the website. My partner advised me to divert into stocks through an advisor, and in just six months, I achieved over 80% capital growth, excluding dividends. Highly recommended!

I actually encountered this dilema on Economics. Rich rich helps the government running the economy at a high degree, ex. Housing without adequate # of apartments rent would be higher = fewer resident = fewer tax on that area. So rich rich people somewhat deserves the tax benefit.

When I was in South Africa, I learned diamonds literally wash up on beaches who are patrolled by guards and dogs. On a special tour we saw undèrground rooms filled with barrels of uncut diamonds. Diamonds are vèŕy poor investments in my opinion as you will not get all your money back, only what the buyer is willing to pay. THINK: if every jeweler has 1000 diamonds both sét and loose in his store and there are, say, 40 jewelry stores and pawn shops in your city, multipled millìons of times, they aŕe not rare are they?

There are times where a debit card can make sense. A regional grocery chain near me only accepts debit cards and checks. For an added layer of security I have a separate checking account (discover to get cash back) that I transfer money into as needed for groceries. Some of their sales makes some of their things about half the price of similar items at other locations. Like watermelon for a little over 20 cents per pound, or chicken breasts on sale for less than $2 per pound. The savings more than makes up for the lack of cash back or rewards points imo.

I used credit card for the medical bills. There is no way to get out of debt in USA, is a fact if you live in USA you will ever be in debt., you work and live to pay debts$$ and pray to stay healthy because if you end in a hospital for days you will get a huge bill.....Use your credit card just be aware that is not your money, you'll have to pay it back. If you want to live free of debts work hard, save a lot of money and retire in another country.
